Curtain Bill of Materials (BOM) + Quote Tool

This workbook provides comprehensive support for people who either manage fabric for curtain manufacture and use contract workrooms, or those who are directly involved in full curtain production. The workbook provides the following list of functions and capabilities: 1. Users can enter an entire curtain project to max 500 lines of data entry, selecting all the normal curtain production criteria such as curtain dims, fullness, fabric selection, heading type, liner selection, track type, control & stack sides, track colour etc. Curtains can be entered as qty = 1 or multiples. 2. The user has almost total control over the parameters used to define how the production costs will be calculated, plus full margin control. VAT/GST can be adjusted for local requirements, plus prices can be generated with or without VAT/GST. 3. The workbook calculates a full bill-of-materials costing for each data line, creating a fully costed output for each line of data. 4. A comprehensive Purchase Summary is also produced as an output after the project quotation process is run, allowing users to see the total quantities of all items, including all fabrics, track configurations, hardware and labour. 5. After the costing is completed, the workbook produces a fully formatted and professional looking Quotation document, with press of button save as .pdf and auto-email functions. The Quote Document also allows easy hiding of any columns that might not be needed. 6. There is a full report of sales margins by line. Users can set margins separately for Retail and Wholesale sales, plus can add sliding scale margins, if required. 7. Quotes are saved into a Quote register, where they can be recalled, adjusted and re-run for any project scope changes. 8. Upon successful winning of the project, the workbook will produce all your supplier purchase orders, if required. 9. A further feature is that the workbook allows users to generate fully costed Grid Pricing for any curtain configuration, using their own defined costs and margins. 3x different Grid types are produced, ie Manufactured Cost, Wholesale and Retail, with selectable VAT/GST inclusion. 10. All user data can be fully backed up for easy restore into future workbook updates. 11. User can add their own logo and personalised name and address details to appear on all output documents.
